12 Days of Giving Blog Hop ~ Presented by ~ Lia Davis

Happy holidays everyone!

I love the holiday season. Between the food, and presents, there is football and family. The last few years have been me, kiddo and my mom, just the way I like it.

We get up when we want to and open presents and then we watch several different games, depending on who's playing.

  1. My family goes to my parents house on Christmas morning where we open presents, listen to Christmas music, and just hang out for a while. And then we have a huge lunch that puts everyone into a food coma...Lol. After that, it's relaxation time and Hallmark Channel's Christmas movies. Thanks for the chance. Happy Holidays.

    1. Nice. When I was younger, we'd do the same. When I moved away from home, we started our own traditions. Good luck! Thank you for stopping by!

    1. I think that's like a top memory for me too. I loved making them at school and bringing the ornament home as a present for my parents.

  6. The week of Christmas after much organizing, family and friends plan a Christmas Tree Hop! Depending on how many are participating,is how many we do each evening. We start at one house each day and then travel to the others, There is a snack or drink provided at each one, we sit around the tree and admire it and then we all sing which ever Christmas Carol that family had chosen and then on to the next. The last evening before Christmas Eve we have one house left, we visit that one and then all pile in vehicles and go to neighborhoods that we don't see everyday to see the decorations, we have usually all sent in one that we think would be an awesome experience for the kids. We try to go to see as many as we can.

    1. Nice. I love that. As a kid, I loved going around to look at all the houses that were decorated. Where I am now, not so many people do it, so I miss showing kiddo what its like in a city.
