Beyond Fairytale Blog Hop

Welcome to the:

I thought I would do something a little different, since I already have two stories in the Beyond Fairytale line, I thought I would give you a couple of tidbits from each book! First I want to say thank you for stopping by. Second, if you have picked up a copy of All or Nothing or Saving Their Princess, thank you. I really enjoy writing in the BF line and the series does challenge me to think outside of the box. So, without further ado, let's begin.

Fun Facts about Saving Their Princess:

1. Saving Their Princess is set in New Orleans. It's the first book I have ever written that was set in the Big Easy. It was also on my writer bucket list.

2. There are several incarnations of Saving Their Princess. What you see here, is the one that made that the cut.  It was also the most fun to write as well.

3. I actually liked the Master. I even asked, why did he have to be so cruel? I think the Master is the first bad guy character I wanted to give him an HEA.

4. Big Momma...I love that woman. We all have a Big Momma in our lives. She, for me, is a combination of my grandma, and a couple of ladies who ran a daycare I went to as a child. You don't realize how influential some people are in your life until you create a character.

5. In the original story, Sabine's character is a young boy. Plot twist! :D Though I had several ideas to fit for a male character, Sabine worked the best, and I believe is a pretty cool chick!

Five interesting facts about All or Nothing:

1. All or Nothing is based off a Hans Christian Andersen story. The mother is a laundress who had the perfect life, only to have the mother of her fiancé tell her she wasn't good enough for her son. She was then married off to the glove maker, had a child and when her husband died, she went back to work with the same family who utterly destroyed her happiness. Twisted right?

2. Quin is a very strong, smart woman who know what she wants in the business world. However translating that to her personal life isn't as easy. She's pretty much shut down. She doesn't want  a relationship, and certainly doesn't want one with a Dom.

3. Joaquin is smooth. He's pretty laid back, but his business sense is that of a pit bull. He will go after what he wants, when he wants it. Which translates well into his personal life. He found Quin to be a challenge and he willing to do whatever it to win her over.

4. All or Nothing takes place in Madrid. I've never written a story outside of the US before, so I did tons of research on Madrid, and added a few places from my research. Can you find them?

5. The Villa. It is just as it states a large home situated on a cliff top. The place has tons of rooms to explore and take in. If I ever come back to Quin and Joaquin's world I will use the Villa again, just to take a more in-depth look at the place.

6. I loved Master Yuri and his sub! Might have to do something with them in the future. ;)

All or Nothing Blurb:

Quin Abraham had it all. A great job, a nice apartment, and a loving Master—or so she thought. Starting over is never easy, but is flying across the ocean to Spain the right decision to make?

Joaquin de la Fuente never expected to find love the minute the sexy submissive Quin Abraham, walked through his door. On the first day on the job, she tore apart his business model and captured his heart.

After a night at the Villa, Joaquin offers her a contract—six weeks to learn once more what it means to be a sub. No strings attached. However, agreeing to the terms and following through is harder than it seems.

Can Quin overcome her fears and accept Joaquin as her Master or will she be as her ex claims, good for nothing?

Saving Their Princess Blurb:

 Kidnapped!

Sabine Babineaux, daughter of the mayor of New Orleans and waitress at The Three Princesses bar, is snatched from the street after a late night at work and knocked unconscious. Waking in a cage, Sabine is determined to escape and take the other women in the basement lair with her.

However, when one of the missing women, Sabine Babineaux, arrives at their precinct, injured and terrified, they take the damsel in distress under their wings and into their home. But the gallant detectives find their princess a big temptation. What will she say when they tell her they like to share?

Can they work fast enough to find out who the kidnapper is and bring them to justice or will they take more victims or come for Sabine again?

Will Sabine survive long enough to explore her feelings for both detectives? Or will Stuart and Kyle fall at the hands of her kidnapper?

  2. I'm writing my second, too, and it is a total challenge to pull enough elements from the story to keep something of the original version, but breathe new life into it and not stray into any of the clichés that may have gone before in previous retellings or in common knowledge.
