Wolf's Song by Taryn Kincaid

WOLF’S SONG
A Black Hills Wolves story
By Taryn Kincaid
BLURB:
Ten years ago, visions of death and the babble of lupine voices in his head, drove lone wolf Brick Northridge to challenge his cruel and greedy pack alpha. Beaten by the alpha’s thugs and banished from the pack, Brick lives a life of seclusion in a mountain cabin in the Black Hills.

Born into a rival clan of feline shifters, skinwalker Summer McCoy, in her guise as a raven, watches Brick from afar, giving him back a reason to live through her sweet songs and special gifts.

But when her clan attempts to tear them apart and threatens the pack that banished Brick so many years before, will their love be strong enough to withstand the forces bent on their destruction?

EXCERPT:
She did not move, except to lower her raised arm from its frozen position. “Why do you call me that…? Annabel Lee?”
“I don’t have another name.”
“Summer,” she said. “I’m Summer.”
Yeah. Def. When the berries plumped sweetest. “Suits you.” His raging arousal made the words hoarse and jagged. Too harsh for this gentle female. “Turn,” he murmured. “I want to see your face.” A low growl escaped him before he could bite it back. “Your breasts.”
She turned then, slowly through the water, rounding to face him.
He sucked in his breath, his heart slamming against his chest. She was stunning and glorious. The beads of water rolling down her golden body sparkled in the sun. She glistened. All natural. No makeup. No artifice. Everything a female should be. And more. Much more.
Another pheromone cloud engulfed him. Her eyes went large and rounded, as if she guessed she’d zapped him with her hormonal lures, but couldn’t help emitting her sex juice any more than he could. Her nose twitched and she sighed, as if enveloped in a vat of melted chocolate, or whatever the fuck his own mating scent smelled like. He could only hope he gave off an aroma as rich and delicious as she did.
He struggled to control the raw savagery of his attraction and had to tear his eyes from her face. But her breasts…God, her breasts. Full and high, the exact size to fill his large hands, rose tips jutting toward him. He remembered how she’d touched herself, how much he’d wanted to replace her hands with his. Hell. He wanted to bury his face between those breasts, lapping at her, licking and sucking, take each one into his mouth, between his lips, grazing the pointed nipples with his teeth until he tore moans of delight from her.
His throat closed, his tongue swelling, filling his suddenly dry mouth, cutting off his ability to utter either animal sounds or inane words. After a beat or two of silence, she glanced away.
“What do you think?” Not shy exactly. Expectant. An undercurrent of doubt laced her question, as if she could not bear to disappoint him, and did not know what to make of his continued speechlessness.
“Perfect.” He rubbed his eyes. “Ah, Christ. You’re perfect.”
“No, I’m not.”
“You are to me.”

Don't Call Me Iron Man Tour

Hello, I’m ND and I’m here to not only promote, but celebrate both the release of my first ever Beyond Fairytales story and the Christmas Holiday. I’m even giving away a $20 Amazon Gift Card and a copy of the book!

When I got to thinking about a blog tour, I decided I wanted to go with something that celebrates the holiday but isn’t strictly about promo. So here’s what I come up with…over the next six days, you - my dear readers, will get a glimpse of what a good old fashioned Christmas is like to a grown cybernetic man who’s never experienced it.  So pull up a chair, a glass of your favorite holiday drink – whether that be eggnog or apple cider, and enjoy a little holiday fun as Ivan introduces his master and lover to everything that we humans take for granted during the holiday season…

A Tree and A Bargain
“Aw, come on. I promise you’ll have fun.”  Ivan shifted the car into park, then pivoted to stare at his lover and Master.  Bundled up to his nose and with an adorable Snoopy beanie on, Lucero’s gaze promised retribution as he looked around at the massive snow-covered grounds of the Marmion Academy.  Run by the Benedictine Brothers, it included an abbey, school, and tree farm, and visiting here was one of Ivan’s fondest memories as a child. Stomping around the farm and finding that perfect tree to hang his school made ornaments upon.  Something he wanted his mate to experience, even if his thin-blooded man was more at home in an environment suited to the tropical rainforests of the Amazon than the blustery, cold Chicago winters.

“I’d rather be at home driving you out of your mind with pleasure, than traipsing around in the cold.”

Ivan shook his head and jumped out of the car – vastly aware of Lucero’s gaze following him as he rounded the front of his SUV.  Opening the door, he reached across and unbuckled the seat belt, but still his Master didn’t move. “Remember you agreed, Sir. If I promised to remain naked for the rest of the weekend, and risk Luci-belle’s claws on certain parts of my anatomy, you’d come Christmas Tree hunting with me. ”

Golden-hued eyes narrowed. “So I did.”  Lucero seemed to huddle deeper in the leather bomber jacket Ivan had bought for him, as he slid from the truck.  “Which is why I am risking death from freezing to help you hunt something that doesn’t even move. I expect you bare the moment we return.”

Ivan sighed and pulled the smaller man up against him. “And I will be.”  He dipped his head to edge aside the beanie and nuzzle Lucero’s ear – loving the way Lucero’s breath caught in his throat.  Even in the crisp winter air, his master responded to him. “But first we have to find the perfect tree.”  He tugged on Lucero’s earlobe with his teeth, while letting his hands wander down to cup his lover’s tight ass.  Ivan hissed as his cock hardened against Lucero’s thigh.  He was getting off track.  They had a tree to pick.  Unable to resist he ground his hips once against his lover, then reluctantly released the man.   “I…I think we should....”

Fisting a handful of Ivan’s parka, Lucero hauled him to him with ease, using his cybernetic strength.  He nipped Ivan’s bottom lip before sucking into his mouth, sending a jolt of pleasure through the larger man.  “Remember who it is you are teasing, amans.  And how quickly I can turn the tables.” Lucero warned, lust mingling with the natural dominance the man extruded.

“Yes, Sir.”  Ivan licked his lower lip, savoring the unique flavor of his master.  “Shall we go find the perfect tree?”

Lucero nodded. “You lead, I’ll follow.”

Stay tuned tomorrow for what happens when the men finally get their tree home…on Kate Richards blog.   And don’t forget to tell me what kind of tree you have in your home this year (real or artificial) in the Rafflecopter form (or link) below…you’ll be entered to win a twenty dollar gift card from Amazon and a free copy of Don’t Call Me Iron Man. I’ll be drawing the winner on Dec 21st and announcing the winner on my BLOG.

Blurb:
Once upon a time...there was this guy. A man who had an IQ out of this world, and was arrogant enough to give the legendary Tony Stark a run for his money. He had everything he could ever want—a good job, more money than he knew what to do with, and all the sex he wanted—no strings attached. But that all changed on one fateful night...

The last thing Ivan Chugunov expects when he drop by his favorite haunt for a few brews is to be entertained by a mysterious storyteller. But as he listens to the man's tale of a prince and an oddity that went by the name of Iron John, he finds himself lost in the story...only to awaken in another realm—one with a quest—for him. Repair the purifier vital to all those who lived and retrieve a medical unit. Seems simple enough, and a small price to pay to return to his own time.

Well, until he finds out that said 'LT-1789 unit' is actually a reclusive cybernetic man. One who will demand his own price of Ivan—three nights of unbridled sexual bliss...with Ivan at his mercy. Only then will he return to the royal clutch.

Can Ivan, a man who relishes control above all else, submit to a man who may be more machine than human?
